This medicine lowers blood pressure by reducing peripheral vascular resistance via antagonizing receptor of angiotensin II, an intrinsic substance which raises blood pressure by constricting blood vessels.
It is usually used to treat hypertension.
Possible adverse reactions to this medicine
facial/tongue/throat swelling, breathlessness[angioedema] feeling cold, vomiting, falling unconscious[shock, syncope, loss of consciousness] decreased urination output, swelling of face and hands/feet, fever[acute renal disorder] numbness of hands/feet and lips, muscle weakness[hyperkalemia] general malaise, loss of appetite, yellowing of the skin/white of the eyes[liver disorder] muscle pain, lassitude, reddish brown urine[rhabdomyolysis]
Dosing schedule (How to take this medicine)
Your dosing schedule prescribed by your doctor is (( to be written by a healthcare professional)) Adults: In general, take 20 mg of the active ingredient at a time, once a day. The dosage may be adjusted according to the age or symptoms, but should not exceed 40 mg a day.
Children aged 6 years old or over: In general, start taking 2.5 mg of the active ingredient at a time, once a day, for children weighing less than 50 kg and 5 mg of the active ingredient at a time, once a day, for children weighing 50 kg or over. The dosage may be adjusted according to the age, weight or symptoms, but should not exceed 20 mg a day for children weighing less than 50 kg and 40 mg a day for children weighing 50 kg or over.
Children aged 2 to less than 6 years: In general, start taking with 0.1 mg (up to 2.5 mg) per 1 kg of body weight of the active ingredient once a day. The dosage may be adjusted according to age, weight or symptoms, but should not exceed 0.8 mg per 1 kg body weight a day (maximum 20 mg).
This preparation contains 20 mg of the active ingredient in a tablet. Strictly follow the instructions.If you miss a dose, take the missed dose as soon as possible. However, wait at least 8 hours to take the next dose. You should never take two doses at one time. If you accidentally take more than your prescribed dose, consult with your doctor or pharmacist. Do not stop taking this medicine unless your doctor instructs you to do so.
The following patients may need to be careful when using
this medicine.

If you have previously experienced any allergic reactions (itching, rash, etc.) to any medicines or foods.
If you have a high blood potassium level, renal disorder, liver disorder or cerebrovascular disorder.
If you are a preoperative patient, receiving hemodialysis or on a regimen of low-salt diet.If you are pregnant, possibly pregnant or breastfeeding. If you are taking any other medicinal products. (Some medicines may interact to enhance or diminish medicinal effects. Beware of over-the-counter medicines and dietary supplements as well as other prescription medicines.)
Storage conditions and other information
Keep out of reach of children. Store away from direct sunlight, heat and moisture. Discard the remainder. Do not store them. If you do not know how to dispose of the unused medicines, seek advice of your pharmacy or medical institution. Do not give the unused medicines to others.

Before using this medicine, be sure to tell your doctor and pharmacist
・If you have previously experienced any allergic reactions (itch, rash, etc.) to any medicines.
・If you are a patient with aspirin-induced asthma, or have a history of aspirin-induced asthma.
・If you have a history of hypersensitivity to tiaprofenic acid, suprofen, fenofibrate, or products containing oxybenzone or octocrylene (sunscreen, fragrance, etc.).
・If you have a history with photosensitivity reaction.
・If you are a patient with bronchial asthma.
・If you are under the age of 20 (If you have many opportunities to be exposed to sunlight such as outdoor activities, etc.).
・If you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
・If you are taking any other medicinal products. (Some medicines may interact to enhance or diminish medicinal effects. Beware of over-the-counter medicines and dietary supplements as well as other prescription medicines.)
Precautions while taking this medicine
・Shield the application site from sunlight with colored clothes or supporters during application and for the time being after use, since this medicine may cause photosensitivity (a rash developed at the site exposed to sunlight).
