Ladyguard Kowa is an OTC medicine developed with the active ingredient flavoxate hydrochloride to improve the feeling of frequent urination and residual urine.
Frequent urination, where you feel like going to the toilet over and over again during the day, or waking up to urinate after going to bed, and urinary retention, where you don’t feel refreshed even after going to the toilet, are caused by hypersensitivity in the bladder that stores urine.
Ladyguard Kowa adjusts bladder function and improves hypersensitivity to a normal state, so it is highly effective for urinary problems such as frequent urination and feeling of incomplete urination.

Usage and dosage
Please take the following amount with water or warm water. Please wait at least 4 hours between doses.
・Adult women (15 years and older): 1 tablet per dose, 3 times per day
・Adult men (over 15 years old): Do not take
・Children under 15 years of age: Do not take

Usage precautions
1. Do not use the following people
(1) Males (Men may have symptoms due to prostatic hypertrophy, and taking this drug may make it difficult to urinate).
(2) Persons who have had allergic symptoms due to this drug or its ingredients.
(3) Children under 15 years of age.
(4) Pregnant women or those who may be pregnant (safety of use during pregnancy has not been fully confirmed).
(5) Persons who have been diagnosed with obstruction of the pylorus, duodenum, or intestinal tract at a medical institution.
(6) People who have the following symptoms (these may be caused by some serious disease, so please consult a urologist).
・Persons who have been diagnosed with a cerebrospinal disease (brain tumor, cerebrovascular disorder such as cerebral infarction or cerebral hemorrhage, Parkinson’s disease, spinal cord injury, spinal tumor, etc.)
・Persons who have undergone pelvic surgery for uterine cancer or rectal cancer, etc.
・Persons with symptoms of blood in the urine, painful urination, bladder pain, or urinary incontinence
・People who do not urinate frequently during the day, but only after going to bed
・People with acute onset (within 1 month after onset)
2. Do not take any of the following medicines while taking this drug:
Gastrointestinal analgesic antispasmodic, gastrointestinal medicine containing roto extract, motion sickness medicine, oral medicine for rhinitis, cold medicine
3. Do not drive a vehicle or operate machinery after taking this medicine.
(Symptoms such as drowsiness, blurred vision, and abnormal glare may occur.)
4. Do not drink alcohol before or after taking the drug
5. Do not use for long periods of time

Symptom name: Symptom shock (anaphylaxis): Immediately after taking the drug, symptoms such as itchy skin, hives, hoarseness, sneezing, itchy throat, difficulty breathing, palpitations, and clouded consciousness appear. Liver dysfunction: Fever, itching, rash, jaundice (yellowing of the skin and whites of the eyes), brown urine, general malaise, loss of appetite, etc. may appear.
3. The following symptoms may appear after taking this medicine. If these symptoms persist or worsen, please stop taking this medicine and consult your doctor, pharmacist, or registered salesperson with this package insert.
Dry mouth, constipation, diarrhea, drowsiness
4. If your symptoms do not improve even after taking this product for a week, please stop taking it and consult your doctor, pharmacist, or registered salesperson with this package insert.

Precautions for storage and handling
(1) Avoid high temperatures and store in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight.
(2) Please keep out of reach of children.
(3) Do not transfer to another container. (It may cause misuse or change in quality.)
(4) Be careful when storing and carrying the PTP to avoid tearing the aluminum foil or damaging the tablets inside.
(5) Do not take the product after the expiration date (written on the outer box).
