This medicine is an antibiotics-resistant lactobacillus preparation. It proliferates even under the presence of antimicrobial agents to produce lactic acid. It consequently improves abnormalities in the intestinal flora and controls intestinal functions.
It is usually used to improve various symptoms due to abnormalities in the intestinal flora when penicillin, cephalosporin, aminoglycoside, macrolide or tetracycline antibiotics or nalidixic acid is used.
