This medicine suppresses the action of enzyme which produces uric acid in the body to reduce blood uric acid level.
It is usually used to treat gout and hyperuricemia.
Possible adverse reactions to this medicine
general malaise, loss of appetite, yellowness in the skin or whites of the eyes[hepatic dysfunction] generalized eruption/rash[hypersensitivity]
Dosing schedule (How to take this medicine)
Your dosing schedule prescribed by your doctor is (( to be written by a healthcare professional)) In general, for adults, start with 10 mg of the active ingredient at a time once a day. The dosage may be gradually increased according to your blood uric acid level as needed. It may be increased to 20 mg at a time once a day after 2 weeks, and then 40 mg at a time once a day as maintenance dose after 6 weeks. The dosage may be adjusted according to your condition. However, it should not exceed 60 mg once a day.
In general, for children, take a body wight-based dose once a day. For children weighing less than 40 kg: In general, start with 5 mg a day. The dosage may be gradually increased according to your blood uric acid level as needed. The maintenance dose is 20 mg at a time once a day, and the maximum dosage is 30 mg once a day. For children weighing 40 kg or more: In general, start with 10 mg a day. The dosage may be gradually increased according to your blood uric acid level as needed. The maintenance dose is 40 mg at a time once a day, and the maximum dosage is 60 mg once a day.
This preparation contains 20 mg of the active ingredient per tablet. Strictly follow the instructions.If you experience gout attack (pain) while taking this medicine, consult with your doctor. Do not adjust your dose or stop taking this medicine unless your doctor instructs you to do so. If you miss a dose, take the missed dose as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and continue your regular dosing schedule. You should not take two doses at one time. If you accidentally take more than your prescribed dose, consult with your doctor or pharmacist. Do not stop taking this medicine unless your doctor instructs you to do so.

・If you have a history of hypersensitivity to tiaprofenic acid, suprofen, fenofibrate, or products containing oxybenzone or octocrylene (sunscreen, fragrance, etc.).

・If you are under the age of 20 (If you have many opportunities to be exposed to sunlight such as outdoor activities, etc.).

Precautions while taking this medicine
・Shield the application site from sunlight with colored clothes or supporters during application and for the time being after use, since this medicine may cause photosensitivity (a rash developed at the site exposed to sunlight).
