This medicine protects against gastric mucosal injury by increasing the prostaglandin E2 content and exerting a cytoprotective effect on the gastric mucosa. The medicine also increases the amount of gastric mucus and stimulates gastric mucosal blood flow to improve impaired hemodynamics, thus helping to suppress inflammation and repair the gastric mucosa.
It is usually used for treatment of gastric ulcer and for improvement of gastric mucosal lesions (erosion, bleeding, redness and edema) in acute gastritis and acute exacerbation of chronic gastritis.
Possible adverse reactions to this medicine
facial pallor, cold sweat, dizziness on standing up[shock] swelling around the eyes or mouth, hives, respiratory distress[anaphylaxis] throat pain, fever, malaise[decreased white blood cell count] nose bleeding, gum bleeding, subcutaneous bleeding in limbs[decreased platelet count] general malaise, loss of appetite, yellowing in skin and mucosa[liver dysfunction, jaundice]
Dosing schedule (How to take this medicine)
Your dosing schedule prescribed by your doctor is (( to be written by a healthcare professional)) For gastric ulcer : In general, for adults, take 1 tablet (100 mg of active ingredient) at a time, 3 times daily in the morning, evening, and before bedtime.
For improvement of gastric mucosal lesions (erosion, bleeding, redness, and edema) in acute gastritis and acute exacerbation of chronic gastritis : In general, for adults, take 1 tablet (100 mg of active ingredient) at a time, 3 times daily.
Strictly follow the instructions in any case.If you miss a dose, take the missed dose as soon as you remember it. However, if it is close to the time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and continue your regular dosing schedule. You should never take two doses at one time. If you accidentally take more than your prescribed dose, consult with your doctor or pharmacist. Do not stop taking this medicine unless your doctor instructs you to do so.

・If you are a patient with aspirin-induced asthma, or have a history of aspirin-induced asthma.
・If you have a history of hypersensitivity to tiaprofenic acid, suprofen, fenofibrate, or products containing oxybenzone or octocrylene (sunscreen, fragrance, etc.).
・If you have a history with photosensitivity reaction.
・If you are a patient with bronchial asthma.
・If you are under the age of 20 (If you have many opportunities to be exposed to sunlight such as outdoor activities, etc.).
・If you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
・If you are taking any other medicinal products. (Some medicines may interact to enhance or diminish medicinal effects. Beware of over-the-counter medicines and dietary supplements as well as other prescription medicines.)
Precautions while taking this medicine
・Shield the application site from sunlight with colored clothes or supporters during application and for the time being after use, since this medicine may cause photosensitivity (a rash developed at the site exposed to sunlight).
