Terramycin ointment a contains two antibiotics: polymyxin B sulfate, which is effective against Gram-negative bacilli (especially Pseudomonas aeruginosa), and oxytetracycline hydrochloride, which has broad antibacterial activity against Gram-positive and -negative bacteria.

Ingredients/Amount
Terramycin Ointment A is a yellow ointment, and the ingredients and amounts in 1g are as follows.
Oxytetracycline hydrochloride…30mg (potency)
Polymyxin B sulfate…10,000 units
Contains white petrolatum and liquid paraffin as additives.
Usage and dosage
Apply an appropriate amount to the affected area once or several times a day, or spread it on gauze and paste it.
